Seville pulls you in through the senses: the scent of orange blossoms drifting through plazas, the sounds of olés of flamenco echoing late into the night, the flavors of jamón ibérico and chilled Manzanilla sherry passed across crowded tables. Our journey is a rare opportunity to experience the region from the inside—through Seville’s private ateliers and residences and as a participant in one of Spain’s most spirited cultural traditions: the Feria del Caballo in Jerez.

Jerez, the cradle of flamenco and sherry wine, is home to a centuries-old celebration that combines folklore, music, and revelry. During the festival, the city erupts into a nonstop spectacle of flamenco, horse parades, and candlelit fiestas. There is nothing staged or precious about it: this is Andalucía at its most authentic.

Through exclusive access and intimate experiences, this journey opens the doors to Andalucía and immerses you in a culture that knows how to live.

Trip highlights

After-hours at the Royal Alcázar of Seville

Enjoy a private visit to the imposing UNESCO World Heritage site that blends Moorish, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture amid exquisite gardens.

Guided shopping in Seville

Step inside intimate workshops and meet the artisans who are preserving ancient textile techniques—from intricate lacework to embroidered shawls and leather accessories made for the Feria—and discover one-of-a-kind pieces that capture the craftsmanship, heritage, and celebratory spirit of southern Andalucía.

The Feria del Caballo

Join the raucous festivities and eat, drink, and dance until the early hours of the morning. One of Jerez’s most notable families will take us under their wing to experience the festivities as a local would.

Tapas aplenty

Savor crisp-fried shrimp, smooth salmorejo, and perfectly marbled jamón ibérico and more as we taste our way through Spain’s tapas heartland, all the while striking up conversations with locals and enjoying the buzz of an ice-cold cerveza.

Seville behind closed doors

Explore private spaces like Casa Salinas, a grand, airy 16th-century residence; and the Monastery of Santa Paula, which happens to be presided over by nuns who make some of the region’s most delicious jams, pastries, and sweets.
