Marella Caracciolo Chia is a free-lance writer and contributing editor for various international publications. She has written several books on gardens and interiors, including a memoir on her relationship with Niki de Saint Phalle, and one novel. She lives in between Rome and Tuscany with her husband, artist and wine maker Sandro Chia, and their two daughters.
